Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and finance teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a team of 5-8 technology analysts and futurists
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through proprietary research frameworks
- Drive patent strategy and IP portfolio development for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE, CFT) preferred
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets and cross-functional teams of 15+
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools for trend analysis
