Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year impact
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and adoption readiness
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present vision to C-suite and board with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Executive presence with experience influencing C-suite and board decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology innovation initiatives
