Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present tech strategy to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives and visualizations
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis and risk mitigation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and agile execution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ planning success
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or spatial computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Track record of launching at least two breakthrough products or services
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing executive and technical audiences
- Experience managing distributed global innovation teams
