- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework, analyzing emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario models for C-suite decision-making on next-gen tech investments
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic research labs and tech startups for early-stage technology acquisition
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities through 2030
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in future studies methodologies and technology assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership in tech/biotech
- Deep expertise in emerging technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial roadmaps
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling skills with advanced analytical tools
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
