Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with 2026 vision and UN SDGs
- Lead emerging tech evaluation (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with engineering, design, and ethics teams
- Monitor geopolitical tech trends and regulatory shifts to mitigate implementation risks
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Certification in quantum computing fundamentals or synthetic biology
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership in tech ethics or innovation strategy
