Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year innovation strategies targeting 2026 technology horizons

- Collaborate with VPs of Engineering and Product to align innovation with business objectives
- Manage a $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Pioneer patent development and intellectual property protection for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- Proven track record launching market-defining technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting and market trend analysis
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers/researchers
- Strong background in patent development and IP strategy
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
