We are seeking a visionary Future Tech Architect (2026) to lead our cutting-edge research division in San Francisco. As a Future Tech Architect, you will be responsible for identifying disruptive trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Spatial Computing, and translating them into viable product architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our roadmap remains at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical vision for the 2026 product roadmap, focusing on next-generation AI integration and quantum-ready infrastructure.
- Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (Web3, AI Agents, Neural Interfaces) and assess their commercial viability.
- Design scalable, high-performance system architectures that anticipate future scalability needs.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application.
- Mentor a team of senior engineers and researchers to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Prioritize technical debt reduction while pushing the boundaries of what is currently possible in software engineering.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years leading R&D initiatives.
- Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing concepts.
- Proven track record of delivering complex systems in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a "first-principles" approach to engineering challenges.
