Responsibilities
- Define the Technical Roadmap: Create and communicate a clear, actionable technical vision for the 2026 strategic plan, aligning engineering goals with business objectives.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research and development initiatives in emerging technologies, evaluating their viability for immediate and long-term integration.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures that can handle future growth and complexity.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence by mentoring senior engineers and guiding junior talent.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Vendor & Technology Assessment: Evaluate third-party technologies and vendors, making strategic decisions to optimize our technology stack.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, containerization (Docker/K8s), and modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust).
- Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of industry trends and identify high-impact emerging technologies.
- Leadership: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leading diverse teams to successful delivery.
