Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze current supply chain processes and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a diverse team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock discrepancies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Vendor Relations: Liaise with shipping carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and resolve logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret metrics and drive operational improvements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present reports to senior management.
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
