As an Entry-Level Support Specialist, you will be the face of our technical support, assisting employees with hardware, software, and network queries. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and mobile devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all technical tickets and resolutions.
- Perform routine inventory checks and asset tagging for company hardware.
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot network connectivity and access issues.
- Conduct basic user training on company software applications and security best practices.
- Ensure the helpdesk ticketing system is updated in real-time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred but not required).
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
