Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues including Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and network connectivity
- Assist with asset management including inventory tracking and equipment deployment
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and security protocols
- Support office equipment maintenance including printers, scanners, and AV systems
- Participate in IT training sessions to expand technical expertise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed associate/bachelor's degree in IT preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose technical issues logically
- Excellent communication skills and customer service aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for equipment maintenance tasks
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional off-site support
- CompTIA A+ certification desirable (or willingness to obtain)
