Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues via ticketing systems.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and network peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and alert senior staff to potential hardware or software failures.
- Perform routine data backups and ensure data integrity and security protocols are followed.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new software deployments and updates.
- Conduct basic end-user training on new office tools and security best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) within the contract period.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
