Responsibilities
- Architect and own the comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Lead a high-performing R&D team focused on emerging technologies, including Advanced AI, Spatial Computing, and Quantum-safe security.
- Identify, evaluate, and prototype disruptive technologies to maintain our competitive advantage in the US market.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing executives to translate futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key technology vendors, startups, and academic institutions.
- Present quarterly progress reports and strategic pivots to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous innovation, psychological safety, and high-speed iteration within the engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, product strategy, or advanced R&D roles.
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative, future-facing products from concept to commercialization.
- Deep technical understanding of next-generation AI/ML architectures, AR/VR ecosystems, and distributed systems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical executive audiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; PhD is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to think 3-5 years ahead of current market trends and build actionable plans to capitalize on them.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
