The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support our growing client base in the Fort Worth area. This contract role is perfect for individuals looking to maximize their earning potential without the commitment of a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Monitor system performance and security to ensure data integrity and network stability.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional IT support or network administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
