Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications per protocol
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
- Handle patient intake and discharge procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate with lab and pharmacy services
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 2+ years of clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Available for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7AM-7PM)
- Valid Texas state medical assistant license
