Responsibilities
- On-Site Support: Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal employees and clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and system backups to ensure business continuity.
- Helpdesk Management: Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and security protocols during the weekend shift to detect and mitigate any potential threats.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Remote Access: Configure VPNs and remote access tools to assist off-site users.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotational basis.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Education: Associate degree or certification in Information Technology (CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred).
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle on-call emergencies.
