Apex Technical Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Weekend IT Specialist to join our Austin-based team. This is a premium role requiring availability on Saturdays and Sundays to ensure seamless system operations.

Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and system backups to ensure 99.9% uptime during weekend hours.
- Resolve critical technical incidents and hardware malfunctions reported by internal staff.
- Conduct security patches and software updates to protect sensitive data.
- Provide Tier 2 support for network configuration and application troubleshooting.
- Monitor server logs and alert systems for anomalies or potential security breaches.
- Document all technical interventions and update troubleshooting knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with the onsite team during handover shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Flexibility to work a consistent weekend shift schedule (Saturday & Sunday).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a strong plus.
