Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test scalable backend microservices using Node.js and AWS
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver API-first solutions
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong AWS services knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
