Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure during night shift hours
- Monitor system alerts and proactively resolve security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and outages
- Document all support tickets, incident reports, and maintenance activities using ITSM tools
- Collaborate with global teams to deploy patches, updates, and system configurations
- Manage user access controls and maintain compliance with cybersecurity protocols
- Perform system backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery simulations
- Train night shift staff on IT best practices and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience with night shift or after-hours exposure
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and firewall configurations
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation and reporting
