Responsibilities
- Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform system maintenance, including patch management, software installations, and security updates.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical procedures and incident reports.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software deployments and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable).
