Responsibilities
- Develop complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform rigorous data cleaning and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
- Document data models and analytical processes to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Maintain and update existing data pipelines to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
- Ability to work independently in a contract capacity while managing multiple priorities.
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Boston, MA.
