Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive tech impacts across industries (healthcare, energy, finance)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging paradigms in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for next-generation human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 partners and investment committees
- Build and lead a futurist research division with 8-12 specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic tech planning at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum machine learning, or human-AI interaction
- Deep understanding of singularity theory and exponential technology curves
- Proven track record of converting foresight into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning using tools like Delphi or causal layered analysis
- Experience with federal tech policy frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF)
