Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments on ML models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into development pipelines
- Advocate for transparent AI practices through stakeholder communications and policy briefings
- Lead cross-functional committees to resolve ethical dilemmas in AI deployments
- Monitor emerging regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act) and adapt compliance strategies
- Research long-term AI safety implications for 2026+ technological landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or regulatory compliance
- Proven experience designing ethical AI frameworks for large-scale deployments
- Deep understanding of technical AI concepts (ML, NLP, computer vision)
- Expertise in global AI regulations and industry standards (ISO/IEC 42001, NIST RMF)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or relevant conference presentations
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Microsoft Responsible AI) required
