Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and neuro interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers for C-suite stakeholders and industry forums
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic trends impacting technology adoption post-2025
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global innovation summits and patent strategy sessions
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record publishing forward-looking tech impact analyses
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, synthetic biology, spatial computing)
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization projects
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Foresight methodologies preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term digital transformation
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of advanced autonomous systems
