Responsibilities
- Conduct technology trend analysis across AI, biotech, aerospace, and quantum computing domains
- Design implementation roadmaps for emerging technologies with 2026-2030 horizons
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align organizational vision with future capabilities
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Develop ethical and sustainability guidelines for next-gen technology adoption
- Create predictive models for market disruption scenarios
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Publishing record in technology foresight or industry disruption
- Certification in technology forecasting or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, CFTe)
