Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to predict 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with 5-year business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof product concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor regulatory landscapes impacting future technology adoption
- Author thought leadership publications on next-gen tech paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (3+ years ahead)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption scenarios
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
