As a key member of our R&D division, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop speculative frameworks, prototype emerging technologies, and guide product roadmaps with 2026 as the strategic horizon. Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop speculative technology roadmaps and impact assessments for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Prototype and validate future-state solutions in our innovation lab environment
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite stakeholders and investment committees
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate 2026-ready features into current development cycles
- Publish thought leadership papers on technological evolution and its societal implications
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy or R&D with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting or speculative design projects
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and rapid prototyping tools
