- Lead cross-disciplinary teams (engineers, ethicists, designers) on moonshot projects
- Identify and commercialize emerging trends like neuromorphic computing and synthetic biology
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants from NSF, DARPA, and private innovation funds
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and government stakeholders quarterly
- Author annual 'State of 2026 Tech' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published work in Nature/Science on AI ethics or sustainable tech
- Track record of scaling tech initiatives to $10M+ budgets
- Expertise in ISO 21400 tech maturity frameworks
- Clearances for DOE/NASA collaboration projects preferred
