Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AGI
- Collaborate with C-suite executives on strategic innovation partnerships
- Present future technology forecasts to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through competitive grant applications
- Author whitepapers published in IEEE and Nature Technology Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI/quantum products
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, machine learning, and blockchain
- Published research in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, Science, etc.)
- Experience with patent development and technology transfer
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and Silicon Valley VCs
- Certification in Technology Foresight (IFTF preferred)
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages
