Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and sociocultural trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to future disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term vision and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend briefings and whitepapers for executive and board audiences
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough opportunities in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Represent the company at global foresight forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and build an internal foresight framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate resilience, neurotech, or quantum applications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
