Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year time horizons
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-proofing principles into product development lifecycles
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify future opportunities through scenario modeling and predictive analytics frameworks
- Drive organizational culture shifts to embed anticipatory intelligence into all business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional command of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex future scenarios to C-level executives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in Fortune 500 environments
