- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms targeting 1000+ qubit architectures
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research funding annually
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals yearly
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype commercial quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proven track record securing federal research grants
- Strong programming skills in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent frameworks
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones
