Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for next-gen cryptography and optimization systems
- Design and execute large-scale quantum computing experiments using 50+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-machine learning frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through strategic proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional innovation teams
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with superconducting qubits
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government or corporate research grants
- Strong background in complex system optimization and probabilistic modeling
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams of 10+ members
