Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI hybrid systems and synthetic biology applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions
- Identify and secure partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Translate complex scientific concepts into commercially viable product blueprints
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $15M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary 2026 technology ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology, or Advanced AI with 8+ years applied research
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from lab to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, CRISPR applications, neuromorphic computing
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate innovation funding
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex futurescapes
- Portfolio of deployed technologies impacting >1M users
- Fluency in emerging tech ethics frameworks and governance models
