Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory landscapes to identify opportunities
- Develop frameworks for ethical implementation of disruptive technologies
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and innovation partners
- Collaborate with R&D teams to accelerate lab-to-market translation
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven scenario modeling
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF)
- Portfolio of published futurist forecasts or strategic frameworks
