Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum AI, synthetic biology, and decentralized autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify paradigm shifts with 2026 market implications
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision on future capabilities
- Author white papers and thought leadership on societal impacts of 2026 technological inflection points
- Design ethical frameworks for human-machine symbiosis in post-2025 ecosystems
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate disruptive startups
- Represent company at global futurist forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published portfolio of scenario planning work for 2025+ horizons
- Expertise in technology convergence mapping and inflection point analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience with Delphi methodology and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
