Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats in emerging domains
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on future-proof business models
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partners, and innovation hubs
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Advose executive leadership on adaptive strategies for technological singularity and societal shifts
- Design and implement organizational foresight frameworks to embed future-readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and weak signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience designing and executing organizational foresight programs
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-back strategy implementations
