Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes.
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps integrating exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces).
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite, simulating future market disruptions and opportunities.
- Author white papers on emerging trends and publish insights in industry journals/conferences.
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with long-term strategic objectives.
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic signals affecting global business ecosystems through 2030.
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans with measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies.
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their business implications.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives.
- Portfolio published in futurist publications or demonstrated thought leadership in innovation forums.
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., CFSP preferred).
