Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and priorities
- Produce trend reports and white papers positioning Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing 2026 market needs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy
