Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps by analyzing emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-economic indicators
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts aligned with future market demands
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Partner with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product development pipelines
- Deliver executive-level strategic briefings and thought leadership presentations on future trends
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track innovation progress and future-readiness maturity
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Track record of successfully implementing future-back strategies that delivered measurable ROI
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFM, CPSI) strongly preferred
