Responsibilities
- Architect and implement forward-looking technology roadmaps for 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototypes for next-gen AI and biotech systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess strategic implications
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints focused on quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized networks
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused development methodologies
- Secure patents and publish research in leading technology journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics preferred
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Exceptional strategic planning with ability to forecast 5-10 year tech trajectories
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding or corporate innovation budgets
